I rarely make Intaglio plates for straightforward editions. Most prints end up being cut up or embroidered on. This piece was created from an old print that never materialized into a finished image. I cut slits and strips from the rectangular image and folded and wove those parts into this freestanding, finished object. The name comes from a Jim Henson video.
