The image was created with a fragment of a pineapple crochet pattern that was a favorite of my grandmother. The crocheted lace was impressed into a soft ground plate and layered with a stenciled mask. The plate was printed several times on Kitakata paper and cut out and selectively glued to create a dimensional print.
