Without the use of a printshop to make artwork in quarantine, I began experimenting with homemade ink recipes. These pieces were of many created with fugitive inks made from avocado and onion skins, black tea, cabbage, beets, and nettles. I used quilt patterns as a template to test the ink color, effects of layering and reactions when altering the pH.
