Craft and fiber-based heirlooms are prevalent in my work. I created a macrame object for the purpose of impressing its texture to create the image for an Intaglio print. These two etchings were created by first knotting jute rope into a circular, nest-like shape, the object was offset on both sides onto two copper plates that were etched and printed.
